    yerrlorr:

    Dear Charlotte.

I remember when you first came out. I was just a kid in grade school and was taken away by your voice. “How I Can Just Kill A Man” was played on my TV like crazy and I loved it. I remember being so in love with the song that I made my parents take me to our nearest record store and buy me the album. I enjoyed it so much that I played it to the point where it annoyed my parents because Waves and the Both of Us was the only album I could dance to and due to how much I loved it. I just wanted to say that I am so very proud of you. I mean, from being played on TV and radio stations to playing Warped Tour to being now on The Voice. I feel like such a proud fan and mother and couldn’t be anymore prouder for you. Seeing you on The Voice and not knowing you even tried out got me star-stuck. Not going to lie, I broke down crying while watching you belt out Apologize. Everything was perfect, I just couldn’t believe the fact that you were aiming for something even bigger which got me so stoked. I saw flashbacks of my childhood while seeing you sing up on the stage. There’s so many things that I wish I was able to get back. Just seeing you on my TV brought it back because you played a major part of my life while I was growing up. I know you’ll do good because you are one rad ass chick. I’m now almost done with my childhood because I only have one more year of high school left. My childhood will soon be over and I will be forced to enter into adult world soon. Thank you for being the soundtrack to my childhood. I know that if I ever want to reminisce on how much I enjoyed being a kid, I can always blast Waves and the Both of Us and it will take me to those memories of being careless, not having a care in the world, and just having fun. I know you’ll go far in life and am honestly, very, very proud of what you’ll do later down the road.
